In preparation for the summer Olympics in Rio, the Canadian Mens Field Hockey team has been holding a series of four warm up games vs the USA Mens team.  Canada took a 2-0 series lead into the game at Rutledge Park, West Vancouver on the evening of July 9th.

An enthustiastic crowd saw the home team take a 6-0 lead at half time, in a very one sided contest.  The second half saw the USA team come out fighting, getting two goals to finish up the game 6-2.

Final Score: Canada 6 – USA 2
