Despite keeping pace with the visitors for the first part of the game, Canada gradually succumbed to the experience and skill of the Maori All Blacks in an entertaining game at BC Place on Friday. A record crowd of more than 29,000 saw the home team defeated 51-9 in an entertaining, if ultimately, one-sided affair.

Canada now depart on a European trip facing Georgia, Spain and Fiji over the next couple of weeks.  They will be back at BC Place on January 27, 2018 in the first leg of their home and away tie against Uruguay in a bid to get to the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
